In vs Out of Network

Being an IN-NETWORK dentist or dental office puts a lot of limitations on the patient, the doctor, the hygienist, and the whole team. In a nutshell, some insurance companies create friction in the doctor-patient relationship by delaying treatment, determining which dental services should be done and how much money should be spent on each service provided. This is a problem because it gives the insurance company a seat at the table when deciding your care. It also makes it challenging for the entire dental team to give you the great care that you deserve. Low fees dictated by insurance compaines make it difficult to recruit and maintain great staff, and invest in technology that improves your treatment and experience at the office.

Insurance premiums rise annually, yet annual limits do not change. In fact, in many cases, the annual coverage limit is the same that it was 50 years ago. Insurance  companies collect more and more money, while the patient's benefits declines in value each year. Insurance companies often misinform patients and the dental office is made to look like the bad guy, creating unnecessary upset between the patient and the office.

Friends, do not despair. OUT-OF-NETWORK offices, like ours,  still accept all kinds of dental insurance. As always, we will gladly file your insurance claim for you and guide you through the reimbursement  process to make sure you receive your maximum insurance benefits. The difference is that we are not under a contract with the insurance to accept certain fees. Your dental insurance is a contract between you and the insurance company. We are NOT a party to that contract. Dental insurance was always designed to cover a portion of, but not all of the costs associated with treatment.

We will continue to provide the highest level of care for you and your family. We thank you for your continued trust in us for over 40 years.
